Skye strives to create unique ceramic sculptures, artfully functional pottery and paintings. Each is designed to bring a touch of whimsy into your world.
Skye’s 2010 collection was inspired by her equine neighbors. On her many walks on the dirt roads of Story, Skye observed horses of many colors and character. This year’s collection of “Artfully Functional Pottery” and her newest paintings reflect the colors and spirit of both the scenery and subjects.
Skye lives in Story, Wyoming with her husband Cal and their little dog Tess. They enjoy camping, hiking, and kayaking in the Big Horn Mountains during the spring and summer. These adventures provide the inspiration for her work. Long hikes contribute to the colors, shapes and subjects for her paintings and ceramic art. The local moose and buffalo herd have become the favorite subjects for this years newest work.
